Title: GT350 build date 1-9-69 front bumper paint
Post by: SChatman on January 12, 2022, 04:37:17 PM
I know the arms on the back of the front bumper is supposed to be painted black and it was addressed on this site before but I can't find it. Can someone please tell me how much is supposed to be painted and what sheen it's supposed to be, Flat Black, satin or semi gloss?
Thank you.

Here is a picture of an unrestored front bumper and the blacked out attaching brackets

Suggests it was applied with a brush and likely has flattened IMHO with age. I've redone them with a semi-gloss. Applied just short of where the bracket and bumper meet on this example

Sorry the area is not well lite and the contrast is not as great as I would like but hope this helps
