We were going home to Knoxville, via 81 south, saw this car, it looked like a "just found as is" car. I wish my wife got the door on the ramp truck!
Fran,
Yeah, too bad. You could have called them and told then the side stripes were the wrong year !
Bob
Haha! Bob did you see, it looks like the rear tires ore a size bigger also....the BFG's look to be newer. Not sure where the plate is from?
Looks like maybe NJ plates
Older NJ Plates. Car has had same registration for 15+ years

Yeah.... looks kinda like the staggered 215/235 BFGs I have on mine ........maybe bigger.
Gee.... I just bought this car now I have to throw it away because of the wrong stripes and mis matched tires. That widow said it was all stock I guess it was $8,000 wasted.

I can get 9K cash if you want to sell it....
Oh God, not cutting it down, it was nice!!!
Looks like a flat taillight panel and a GT rear valence panel, likely a mid year Shelby VIN.
(Unless those are half circles cut out without the bright trim on the rear valence; which could make it an early car with owner added 10-spokes).
Any 67 seen outside of a show is a unicorn....unfortunately..
What were they towing behind the Shelby?
LMAO thats funny !

I was driving, thus it was hard for me to look too long, but I can tell you it did not have a flat gas cap, I did not see any other early car traits. Other than it being a GT500 it reminded me of my old car 1424. They had a small enclosed trailer behind it.
