Title: Saw this on I81 in PA
Post by: 67 GT350 on September 29, 2021, 05:36:03 PM
We were going home to Knoxville, via 81 south, saw this car, it looked like a "just found as is" car. I wish my wife got the door on the ramp truck!

Fran,

Yeah, too bad. You could have called them and told then the side stripes were the wrong year !

Gee.... I just bought this car now I have to throw it away because of the wrong stripes and mis matched tires. That widow said it was all stock I guess it was $8,000 wasted.

Looks like a flat taillight panel and a GT rear valence panel, likely a mid year Shelby VIN.

(Unless those are half circles cut out without the bright trim on the rear valence; which could make it an early car with owner added 10-spokes).

I was driving, thus it was hard for me to look too long, but I can tell you it did not have a flat gas cap, I did not see any other early car traits. Other than it being a GT500 it reminded me of my old car 1424. They had a small enclosed trailer behind it.
