Wow. Thanks for sharing!
Just a lucky find.
Pretty perfect cheers
Believe that photo of the toy Shelby's was posted on the forum before the big crash. Don't recall the maker of the models/die cast or the scale
Thanks for reposting
I seem to remember it had something to do with SAAC 41 at Mid-Ohio and the 50th anniversary of the '66 cars and an article Greg K wrote on the '66 Hertz cars - they were not able to get real cars in all the colors (cars in all the colors didn't make it to the event) and did it with models? Guess that article would be in the 2017 Shelby American Annual.
Speaking of realistic diecasts, this arrived today in duplicate. One will serve as an adjunct to my Princeton Drive recreation. This has to be one of the most detailed 1:64 diecasts I have ever seen.
One of the nicest Die Cast Pics i know
The Pic is older and was in Shelby Book
And in a newer Shelby Mag also
All the Models are from Lane/Exact Details
Im 1.18 Scale
Normally all the Models have the LeMans
Stripes, but some are removed

The reds typically had no Le Mans stripes. My car never had them but I added them in the restoration...
According to Greg Kolasa's rather excellent Definitive Shelby Mustang Guide, green Hertz cars also lacked the so called LeMans stripes.

Interesting fact. I heard there will be a green Hertz at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in November. I decided not to be a suck this year and therefore entered my red one again as well. Just so long as they don't "put baby in the corner" again like they did in 2019.

Only missing the 1 of 18 white with blue side stripes Hertz. Maybe they didn't make that version in the 1:18th scale.

White with blue side stripes Hertz did not have the "H" designation I believe.
Thats right Rich
White/blue as Hertz was Not produced
In 1.18
In 1.43 a mistaked cheap Modelcar is called Hertz,
And has the right wheels but this is not
Really as Hertz produced
I really think that only we shelby nuts people

+1. Correct, the white with blue cars did not have an "H" in the side stripe. They were standard striping.
The blue Fang Hertz released from its container.
