Title: G.T 350 Tail Lght Panel Emblem
Post by: hertz350 on March 15, 2021, 11:20:37 PM
My supposedly NOS taillight emblem has been stored inside for years. It has developed a red color hue or iridescence. Has anyone else encountered this?

I have seen the back side turn black from oxidation, but not red  iridescence.  Does it wipe off, like a film deposit?  Was in stored near a oil or word burning furnace or other incendiary device such that burnt or un-burnt fumes/gasses could deposit on the emblem?  Just some ideas for you.

It was stored in a dry location and not exposed to any chemicals or other things that could cause discoloration.
