Title: 67 brake light switch
Post by: Sixx7shelby on April 08, 2018, 11:14:23 AM
I need to replace the brake light switch in my 67 GT350 and have been looking online for one. I have found that they list a specific 67-68 power disc switch, while others list generic switches.

What would be the difference on the 67 power disc vs. a 69 or drum brake switch?
Any recommendations on a quality source for one?

Thank You
Dave

I don't know.  On #0036, when it went bad about 6-7 years back I just bought another Autolite one on Ebay.  It fit and works.

There are a few differences with brake light switches that I can not begin to explain or document. Different pressure required for power versus non-power and different terminal/plug orientations that defy logic. Just get the correct Ford part and be sure it matches the original in every way.
