Just purchased some NOS fender emblems. (2 piece). Of course the glue has dried up over the years. Any suggestions for attaching the sticker to the plate? Thanks
Clear silicone, let it set for 24 hours.
May need to use low tack tape or some weight to make sure the aluminum emblem follows the curved contour of the plastic base.
This stuff allows you to make sure they are positioned straight even though there is a recessed area to set them in.
Very timely question for me as well. I have acquired a set of the "flat" badges for the early '67 cars and new sets of badge holders and I was pondering the same question. Won't be attempting to have anything "set up" until this arctic BS goes away.
