Title: 1969 Shelby Space Saver Inflator Bottle Stowage

How was the space saver spare tire inflator bottle stowed in the trunk of early production 1969 Shelbys?  My car was built in late December 1968.  The trunk floor has not been replaced, and there is no obvious evidence that a cradle for the bottle was ever installed on the trunk floor.
