Title: Sealant around seat belt anchors
Post by: Corey Bowcutt on January 24, 2021, 11:59:05 AM
I have scrapped off the old undercoating from the bottom of my car which included all the joint sealants.  What is the best sealant to use around the seat belt anchors.  The spectrum sealant I have is not thick enough to look original.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,  Corey

Yes have used black DAP chalking with no grit or texture for these purposes in the past. Seem to hold up well since most cars are garaged and don't see real wild swings of temp changes and if you don't put it on real thick. Also used in the real wheel wells before the  sound deadener and where some of the other chalked on them wiped applications took place but not all of them
