Title: 67 GT500 manual transmission bellhouse paint
Post by: shelbydoug on January 21, 2021, 10:58:35 AM
On the above item, the bell itself seems to only be painted with Ford blue as an overspray from the engine?

On the original bells I have seen, the sheet metal cover on the bottom of the bell is not painted.

If that part was added later, shouldn't the clutch assembly have blue overspray on it originally also?

The short answer is typically no engine color over spray on SB or BB clutch and pressure plate assemblies .
