Am looking for a good original 65 GT350 steering wheel hub adapter for a 3 hole steering wheel on a May numbered car.
Which type? The die cast with the S1MS number on the inside and chrome plated on the outside or the all aluminum hub that is polished on the outside. Diecast are most typical on later cars.
Bob, believe it has the S1MS on backside but will pull it tomorrow and validate.
Bob, were the die case units on the 3 hole wheels? If so, is there a part number and availability somewhere? Thanks

The later steering wheels used the diecast and the earlier aluminum. The 3 hole wheel could have had ether depending on what period it was used in production IMO. The die cast hub has a S1MS engineering number seen from the backside.
Just a follow up. Still looking for a 65 GT350 steering wheel hub. Need one that is chrome plated with the S1MS on inside for number 228. My splines are bad and allows shaft to slip,,,,,Any suggestions as to how to repair splines???
bump - still looking.
