Title: What are these holes??
Post by: 67GT500#1594 on December 04, 2020, 06:02:48 PM
These single holes on each side respectively are in question?? What are they there for? I'm drawing a complete blank and can't find any info on them? They are both right above the hood hinges. Any HELP!!
I'm about to button up the engine compartment.

Thanks!! Matt

I'm guessing somebody installed hood pins on all 4 corners and removed the hinges, for a lift off only type hood back in the day.

They are the "practice making them go away holes". Since they weren't there from the factory that is the best name for them IMHO.
