Are there any Ford two groove 3/8 belt water pump and crank pulleys suitable for an early Hipo 289? Appreciate any info available. Thanks.

There were no two groove pulley's used on 66 GT350's from the factory. With that said could you explain why your question?
"Back in the day" I threw my belt in an SCCA race with sad results. Always wanted to have some redundancy. No concern for accuracy for a particular car. Just OE Ford.
as I recall the A/C option had dual groove, you should check diameters through!

+1 Never on a GT350 except maybe the 4 convertibles with air .They required a modified balancer per Jim Cowles as the A/C pulley is a bit larger in OD.
Double groove pulleys from a standard '66 289 with smog and power steering should work. My MPC is at home so I can't check it now.

Randy it was not a modified hipo balancer but a special made for the application aluminum crank pulley .
Thanks Bob,
The only one I had seen in person was the green one back when Joe Wallace owned it. I guess it was the '67 that had the modified balancer. He probably still has it for sale.
