A good friend is looking for his former car, GT500 #899.
Anybody know the whereabouts of it?

I'm not sure when these photos were taken, but they appear to be more recent than your photo.
Dave is your best bet to help find the current owner if you want to take it any further.

Looks like Richard Olsen in the photo, Howard Pardee's half brother.

Dave is the best source to check.  But since Columbus Ohio was mentioned, there is a Mustang/Ford/Shelby restoration shop that has had a number of cars go through it's hands, they may have some knowledge - if they handled it.

He is not in the position to re-purchase the Shelby. He said he does have some older photos the current owner may want.
