Have you considered having a private investigator look for them? I had been posting the VIN and photos of an old Mustang fastback I had 35 years ago on different Facebook pages hoping someone would recognize it. I even posted them on this forum a year or so ago. I gave the VIN to a buddy of mine who is a PI and he had a name and phone number for me in 24 hours. Here's pics of the car I found. The pics of it in maroon are from when I used to own it. The pics of it in white are what it looks like now.

Well, close but no cigar. I got a price from the owner and was agreeable to it. Then he said he didnt want to sell the car.
