Post by: JessC on July 24, 2020, 09:22:34 PM
Hi,
I'm work on my 67 and I have a problem. It has factory Disc KH hays calipers. It seems like my hoses are to short to reach frame mount I did the arning drop and the car is on  jack stands. Hoses measure 15 inches long. Any Idea's whats going on and how to correct?

If you let your suspension "hang" while in the air you'll have that issue.  You can take a 2X4 and insert it between the frame and the bottom side of the upper control arm in the shock tower.  It will keep the suspension from over-articulating. If it's on jack stands you could also use your floor jack underneath the bottom control arm and simply lift the suspension until you can get it back into the hose bracket and the line tightened back up.
If you bleed the brakes be sure to use the centering tool to lock the distribution valve or you'll wind up little or no front brakes after you bleed them.
