Title: Reverse lock-out pin
Post by: chipchambliss on July 16, 2020, 01:28:33 PM
Can someone tell me if the pin in the attached photo is correct?  When I bought the car it had electrical tape wrapped around the upper end of the shifter to keep the holes plugged.  I wasn't sure if they had the wrong pin in there to begin with because it pops out easily.  Is it typical for the reverse lockout handle to rattle a lot?  It's metal on metal between the two pieces and it seems like there's quite a bit of space...

Thanks!

Chip

Upon further review, Chip, there might have been a bushing inside lockout? I will direct you to a "guy"

Bill did my shifter and disassembled my lever so I could have it re-chromed and reassembled it.  I highly recommend him.
