Title: Need picture of firewall for a 69 Dearborn Fastback, A/T, A/C, P/B car
Post by: kasearch@ix.netcom.com on May 09, 2020, 08:43:04 AM

I have a 69 Dearborn Fastback, A/T, A/C, P/B car that is at the body shop. I noticed additional holes had been made in the firewall. Does anyone have a photo of an original firewall (same configuration as mine) that they could share. A car without the motor, or at the body shop, anything that I could use for reference.  thank you.

These are raw shots of 1584 after I degreased the engine compartment and hit it with a steam cleaner. March 31st, 69 build. If you want to PM me your email address (if different from your use name), I can send you the larger format pictures.

Found one more shot of the upper firewall when I first brought the car home. The aftermarket, chrome export brace was not reused  ;)

Posted this elsewhere in reply but they might help others in the future here also. Mustang examples NOT Shelby's so missing some holes that were added later

Hope this helps

Not sure what the rubber plug is below and to the right on the ground strap. Likely a PO getting creative
Early car example.
