FYI given the Shelby forum I thought it is important to note so that there is no mistake that the C8ZZ-B antenna assembly was not used on any year Shelby from the factory.

Sorry but not my field of interest so I can't say definitively one way or the other that it is only a over the counter part for a regular Mustang or Boss.

It is an odd part that was released in the 1970's. It does not resemble in any way the factory antenna in a 1967 - 68 Mustang which had a round base and was completely different. Rather it looks more like the 1969 and later antenna - kind of. It is not correct or right for anything.

It does look a lot like the antenna on my 68 Torinos.
