Looking at a 68 Shelby FB on BaT. a "6A" interior. My old car had a "5A" interior. Is the difference air conditioning as the seats look the same in both cars? Thanks
5A is comfortweave, 6A is smooth vinyl

Thanks. Is there a noticeable difference when viewing in pics? I was not aware that 68 Shelby FBs had 2 different seat options. Do you have pics of both? Thanks. Gary

The smooth vinyl/6A is on the left, the comfortweave/5A is on the right.
There was no saddle comfortweave and comfortweave wasn't used on convertibles, because it is actually a woven material and you would get wet buns.
I don't think it was an "option". Earlier cars tend to have the 6A, Later cars tend to have the comfortweave
Thanks Pete.
My 68 GT 500 has a code of 6F and has saddle and I think it's comfort weave.
6F is the standard "kiwi" vinyl pattern. The factory did not supply saddle, comfortweave to Shelbys to the best of my knowledge.
