Quote from: Corey Bowcutt on May 02, 2024, 09:23:41 PMFun article. I especially enjoyed it because I am currently refurbishing a 64.5 convertible with a 260. However my 260 is a V8 not an inline 6. I am guessing there is a mistake there somewhere.

The 200 In Line 6 is pretty much an Indestructible Motor. Not sure about the 170 though.

Quote from: myboss on May 02, 2024, 11:32:57 AMYes located backing plates from another vehicle, non Mustang. Was not looking for numbers correct parts as they are not going to be for this application. Looking for good used drums was fritless, just wanted drums preferably made in the US.

Also keep in mind, China is also known for manufacturing Parts and stamping them "Made in the USA".

The Colors are great.  Ford had it hanging inside and when my Friend got it, he hung it inside his Storage Room that is inside his Garage so it saw no Sun Light.  I buddy wanted offered me $500 for it but I wouldn't know how to safely ship it to him in Texas.

If you attended the MCA 60th Mustang Anniversary Show at the Barbers Motorsports Park in Birmingham and brought your Shelby, we may have met as I gave out about 36 small bottles of "BLACK HAT" Kentucky Straight Bourbon.  Some said they will not open the Bottle, that they are going to put them on Display instead but will raise a Glass for sure. so, I ask you all (that is able to) to Raise a Drink up to Honor Carroll Shelby on May 10th at 8:00pm EST.
