1967-1968 style 10-spokes in the top picture, which is interesting.

You simply cannot put a value on how that car enhanced your life over the decades.

Bought 6S1855 for $2,000 in 1987
The worst was passing on purchasing CSX2027 ( for years I thought it was 2017) for $3,500 and trade in of 1431. Didn't have a roof or heater so I turned it down
By the way when I bought 1431 I was making $85 a week, so $1,000 was a bunch of money. I didn't have $1,000!but the dealer I worked at helped get the loan. The bank president co-signed my loan and I paid 14.5% interest for a one year loan.

How could you have known back then where the Cobras would go not to mention Shelby Mustangs. General rule I learned is if they were hot when new then they will be hot when old. And when the top goes down the price goes up.

Very cool, interesting that by 1970 it has red stripes - someone wanted their gt350 to look different..

When I bought the car that summer, while washing it some of the paint flaked off on the side stripe, revealing the original gold...

Fantastic! Real wisdom to hold onto it, most people have a lifetime of regrets rather then a lifetime of good memories!

Strange looking center caps on the magnums, are those like 1970 Boss center caps with the running horse? They look pretty large.

Notice the "H" removed from the side stripe, a fairly common practice back in the day, I have read.

I don't know the time frame of this picture, but the Blue Streaks seem to infer that it's a period photo.

Does anyone know the date of it??

Me and the original owner
He bought it after it came out of Hertz service in late 66-early 67 and I purchased it in Dec 1971
