More History about Dixie Dean?

Anyone know where I can find more information about Dixie Dean?  Favorite books or websites?

Dixie was a mechanic for John Wyer atleast 1968, 1969 and 1970 (maybe more?).  He helped win the '68 and '69 24 Hours of Lemans and then later worked on the 917 Porsche.   He also helped Steve McQueen with the Lemans movie.

Some of his belongings were auctioned off earlier this summer and it sparked my interest.  From seeing the items auctioned off, one can see that he was very involved in some significant racing history.
