are the hoses crossed on the ram piston ?
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

I believe the gentleman meant to say restored Power Steering Cylinder system.

When we rebuilt our system we replaced every hose in the system ALL power and return hoses.

The power cylinder, the power valve and pump.

Caution when installing the new hoses, I can mention that we incorrectly installed or a better word to use "inverted" the power valve hoses. Causing the power steering to go a bit wild and out of control.

Good luck on your adventure  !

Well he can send the pump to Chockostang and have it rebuilt properly.

That is probably the best solution now?

Or......

I don't know if you are a certified mechanic, but at this point I would take it to a ASE mechanic or have them come remedy the current situation

ASE mechanic only means that someone took and passed some test with multiple guess type questions , does not mean that the individual can fix a car . Dumb suggestion  ::)
