Pearl Harbor is the number one tourist destination in Hawaii.  Even lots of interest by younger Japanese tourists as well.  All come to learn, remember and pay respect.  Lots of events again this year with a couple of 100+ year old who I met last Sat. night.  Also a Rosie The Riviter group of ladies that kept the war effort going.  Parades, speeches and ceremonies all week.  Also, the "bookends", USS Arizona and the USS Missouri, noting the begining and the end of WWII for the USA, are moored at Ford Island in the middle of Pearl Hrbot.  No relation to the Fomoco family but interesting to note the name for us Ford followers.

My family had to immediately evacuate their homes along the coast right after the attack due to concerns over land invasion.  Everyone had to find freinds and relatives up on the hills and help put up black cloth over the windows as no lights were to be on at night.  My fther was an Army MP and was responsible for handling the first Japanese prisoner of war, an ensign on a grounded suicide sub that got lost and beached on the east side of Oahu.  My father was the officer in charge of getting him locked up, prevent hoards of curious viewers wanting to see him.  After a few weeks heee, Sakamaki was sent to aa internment camp in CA.

The stories of Dec. 7 keep being passed on to each generation.  We do not forget. 8)

I have an issue with the ad slogan "Own The Legend".  Wouldn't that apply to an original only?  Should be "Own a Variation of a Legend". 8)

Gotta love how the Cobra can squeeze through the pedestrian tunnel.  Did Peter diagram that as as a track entry shortcut? 8)

Gauges are probably the ones later changed on the 66 dash from the idiot lights, the oil pressure and amps.  Driver looks like he is going over instructions  as tach an speedometer are not registering. 8)

Note: small packages like these can be sent via USPS, insured, to all 50 States at the same rate.  Good luck with the sale. 8)

New Jersey, hmmmm. Will there be the "Boss" driving a Boss?  Not sure what Bon Jovi would drive. 8)

Hawaii DMV kept records on 6x9 inch cards in cardboard boxes until the late 1960s.  All files were then copied to microfiche. Records over twenty years were put in storage boxes in a metal warehouse.  Over time all the microfiche files disintegrated and were lost so no records before the late 1097s exist.   DMV will issue new titles based on available paperwork, public notice in the newspaper classifieds and petition.  8)

Shelby Licensing began as the protector of CA's name, image and associated products (early Shelby American, Inc. vehicles).  Now it is the revenue source for the CHS Trust.  Since Ford is not making the GT350 or GT500, there is a loss of revenue per vehicle produced (thousands each year).  Creative marketing efforts allow the licensing team to issue a negotiated approval of the name on all sorts of products and businesses.  So now it isn't personal, it's just business. (Apologies to the "Godfather"). 8)

The result could be the already rediculous auction price for these modified movie car Mustangs will probably go more insane levels.  And more shops will sign on with Shelby Licensing to make more of these toys. 8)

Anyone selling "I Survived The SAAC Forum Server Crash" t-shirts?  Actually, as long as the system returns within a few days so I can review the amazing Shelby knowledge here, I will survive. My thanks to those who provide this forum and the those who contribute information. 8)
