But it's original rust, not the restored stuff?

I still have a small bag of "original rust" from 2623. Wonder how much I can get for it  ;)

Saw that, looks like a decent driver, but pics appear to show rot through on the inner rockers ?  Or maybe just a bad camera angle ?

Screen shots attached for others to review and discuss further.

No idea if this is really a Shelby or not. Sucks either way.

Not a real Shelby as previously noted...

Found already-Missing front end fiberglass and doors (that had 71-73 Mustang door handles custom installed).

The question I have, who steals the fiberglass, and the custom doors, but leaves the drivetrain intact and untouched other than the missing air cleaner?

PS: Then again, did anyone norice the stress crack and rusted area by the drivers upper door latch on the "A" pillar  :o

No offense, but I'm amazed at how many learned people get sucked into clicking articles at such "Click Bait" web sites. Articles lacks so much, as deathbed has already stated.

Where do we go after we use our credit at Indy?

Back to a simpler time, and venue, as you and others have been putting on in the northeast for quite some time now.  Food, fun with friends, a one day car show, a drive in the countryside, and maybe even a movie, or a stop in to see someones private collection, or all of the above.

Just my two cents worth.

This sort of cracks me up, when a few of us ask about the LOOOONG overdue 67 registry we get pounced upon for asking. The above got an answer, we are still waiting....No offense to anyone, we know it is hard work, but by the time it comes out, won't there be many new owners, and time to "print" another one?

My personal response above, was common sense from an event standpoint, as deposits are always considered non refundable  ;)

And why Indy again.....

I would think because the deposit for last year was non refundable  ;)

Maybe this needs to be screaming yellow alert?

Tulsa Police say someone stole a rare 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500 outside downtown in the Pearl District on January 7th.
-It's valued are more than $200,000.
- The car has a 4 speed manual transmission and a fairly loud exhaust.
-It  has a black interior and fancy aftermarket gauges.
-It also has a voodoo camshaft sticker (a skull with the word Voodoo underneath) on the rear spoiler.
-Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
-You can remain anonymous.

Royce,

Saw this earlier today on facebook.

1st: The car is a clone, and not an original
2nd: Without the VIN posted, the police, in my opinion, are looking at a host of issues due to lack of clarification without the VIN.
3rd: While the 200K is subjective, having that out there makes me believe something else is afoot.

Again just my personal two cents worth, as is everything else outside of the classifieds subforum for which I moderate.

Yes, the car we were speaking of did not ship until December 20, 1968 (by rail it says).

As stated by both the 68 Registrar (Mongo), and our resident 1968 Shelby historian (Coralsnake), your car was not the last to be built. In regards to the date finished, you may want to reach out to the 68 Registrar directly via PM.

Why do people question the power of the Coralsnake?

🤷🏻‍♂️

They don't know you like we do  ;)
