Strange in that the 390 Aluminum engine was a 1964 development that seemed to get side lined .  By 1968 I would think that it would be old tech. What is the validity of the 396 FE being a de stroked 427?

He told his record company he wanted a Shelby Mustang and they bought the infamous "Blue Lady" 1967 Nightmist Blue GT500 for him. I do not think the Murders would have happened if Steve Mcqueen was in the house. He would have fought back for certain.
I believe he started carrying a gun and did so the rest of his life.

the last paragraph of the meeting minutes is mentioned "1968 396 aluminum engine"
I've never heard any mention of this before.
There was the 427 calliope 3 valve engine, but this does not sound like it's in any way associated.

any others familiar with this?
