Title: wheel weights 1966 10 spokes
Post by: kram350 on May 01, 2018, 07:16:12 PM
Anyone know of the proper rim mount weight to use on a '66 10 spoke? Looks like a AWZ type? Originally what might have been used, stick on maybe? Thanks in advance.

So... all you 10 spoke owners don't balance your tires  :-X?

I may be wrong but I doubt there is a technical bulletin on wheel weights. Considering how many wheels I've seen that had marks on them for clip on weights it probably has as much to do with who mounted the tires as much as anything else.

Speak to Mr. Cowls. If anyone has tracked that detail down, it is probably him.

You want tape ons of course to protect the rim but is that "original"? Hum?
