1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Origin of 1966 GT350 and K-code rear housing center section

At the risk of revealing another secret, does anyone know the origin of the center section of the 66 GT350 or K-code center section housing.  Is it a Ford Galaxie, Ford truck, big block or?  It can't be unique.  Or the "make from" part.

If you are done or have any spares of the very early SOA new letters, I'd be interested, the five from 1972 and four from 1973  Vol 2 No. 1 to Vol 2 No. 4.  See related link for images of those issues.
