Concours Talk / NOS pony keys or?
Last post by deathsled - Today at 10:38:40 PM
I found this artifact in my closet of parts with the intent to have one of them cut. I bought a long time ago say at least 10 years from some key shop in Ohio I believe. Not that it matters, but intellectual curiosity drives the question: nos or not? I take it that the rectangular head means ignition key while a key with rounded ends would be for the trunk?

Charlie, took over the business 5 or 6 years ago and moved it to Idaho. Last time I saw him was at his father's funeral in October. I don't know how fast he is getting products out so call Charlie and tell him I sent you and that may help.

I am trying to get a take on how important the metal pan is under the CJ cast iron intake.I have a chance to buy a cast iron CJ intake at a reasonable price unfortunately it is missing the sheet metal heat shield pan. I understand the pan is Cobra jet intake unique so I can't substitute one from a 390.What say you?

Just so you know in case you didn't, The 68 hood you have would be for a KR with the plenum underneath. I'm not up on the values but the plenum probably adds value over a non kr hood.

But.....everyone has to remember this race first origins.

Series debuted in the Miami area in the mid-1980s with a street circuit at Tamiami Park, then returned to race at Bicentennial Park in 1995.

From 1996 to 2010, Homestead-Miami Speedway hosted the Indy cars on the 1.5-mile oval. The CART series participated from 1996 to 2000, then the event was switched to the Indy Racing League for 2001–2010. An additional Champ Car race was held for a brief time at Bayfront Park from 2002 to 2003.

Hi !!  i am offering some Shelby parts that i will deliver for free if sold PRIOR the All Ford Carlisle event next June . What i have is first , an original 68 Shelby hood with louvers , pink primer is showing through the original black paint . the only two small issues i see are a small piece of fiberglass missing ( the size of a quarter ) near the separation of the two air inlets on the top and the plenum is partially unglued on one side from the hood itself but all is there . second part is another hood but for a 67 Shelby , original later hood without metal reinforcement . taken off a GT350 in the 90's . I feel like there is bondo under the paint probably to correct the usual bent associated with these fiberglass hood . Finally i have a set of 5 original 15x7 Magstar wheels . three of them are real nice looking , one shows chrome peeling on the outer rim and the 5th wheel has damage from hitting a cutter in my opinion . Prices are 3k for the 68 hood , 2500 on the 67 hood and 2200 for the 5 wheels .i have many more pics of each item , just ask if required . interested ?? contact me on my email at reggiehoule@hotmail.com   . Thanks .
