I will be shopping! 8)
Will you have anything for a 68 GT500 convertible?
QSS
'68 Shelby yes , convertible specific , no. PM if you like.
A friend of mine and his wife will have the spot next to me. His wife has made some ladies earrings with COBRA , GT350 , and snake emblems on them. These emblems "were" ( no longer) made for her by ACSCO Products who was the OEM supplier for many '68 up emblems. Be a HERO and buy your wife a set for under $50. Happy wife, happy life! ( Yes I already stepped up just for that reason) LOL
There will also be an NOS auto trans wood "T" handle shifter "knob". It is believed to be a first article example from the '68 production run. $400 is the asking price.
He also has two round back alternators ( small pulley sorry) and a couple of very nice wire plugs for those alternators ( they often fall apart). Two ''brown" solenoids a "genuine" R model carb plenum hold down bracket ( not the plenum) and Cobra "flat needle" Stewart Warner gauges and an original COBRA 6 bolt cast iron scattershield. All prices to be determined on these items at this time.
Randy, I will see you there. You might have something I can't live without.
What spot will you be roosting in?

They are first come first served. I am aiming for a specific location but don't want to reveal. I am offering a "show special" and this is BIG!!
ANYONE who uses the code word "Bob Gaines" will get a FREEEEEE "CAUTION FAN" sticker. This is Bob's FAVORITE sticker and they will be given away to those who use the code word until the HUGE supply is exhausted. Autographed stickers are still being negotiated at this time.

Got a manifold for me?
If you fly out to pick it up I will take it off of my car and hand it to you Saturday. Bring some dead presidents NOT the ridiculous epay amount , I always sell for less than epay trying to bring prices back to reality . Pickers - users everyone pays the same. I'll save a caution fan sticker for you. If you don't fly out you just have to wait a while longer to get it.

Think that is only going to be done at the signing party. Did you get your invitation? ???
csheff,
Still in negotiations with Mr Gaines. "His people" are asking for some big concessions. Some fancy brand of water served at a specific temperature, gold plated signing pens , break time between autographs , mood music by some obscure artist and a donation to some "fund" in his name. I am optomistic though.
See you there!
Randy
Wait until they start showing up on ePay and at BJ. The stated values will be astronomical. 8)
I wouldn't buy one without a certificate from an autograph verifier.
The deal has fallen through. I just looked at the bottle of water his people are requesting. It comes in a 24carat gold bottle and costs $60,000 a bottle. The stickers are still free but no autograph session.
Randy
how do I know if these stickers are authentic for my 66? phred

In all honesty phred , the Ford dealers ( back in the day) were told to "retrofit" those decals onto shrouds that didn't have them! Mine are Osborne repops ( :()
I have heard he likes Pat Boone and a little Barry White after a few wine coolers.

Will we also get a certificate of authenticity? 8)

Pat Boone is going to be there?
That's going to be a bit tough. Anything can happen when the liquor is flowing.
He will be in the hot tub waiting
Lol
I'm not going ANYWHERE near there!

Rarer than an unsigned glove box, if you find one buy it regardless of the price
At least 5 people asked me for one. Sure glad my Hertz car had a 3259. Guess I'll have to find some.
While I didn't find any needed parts, thanks to all those who brought their stuff to sell. 8)
Was Pookie there selling parts?
Pookie might have been in disguise! Who would he dress up as? The hamburgler? ;)
I was at Randy's spot. Great meeting up with you! One of his items was a genuine Pookie box. Really tempting :-)
Yes I couldn't resist! When I was pulling the Ford boxed parts I discovered two front "bumperettes" USED but in a Ford box so I marked it POOKIE STYLE to see if anyone would notice. Several had a chuckle over it.
Meeting forum members was the highlight of the weekend for me. Some new and many long time friends stopped by. Thanks to ALL that came by even if to just say HI!.
Randy
Not NOS but a unusual sighting was that I saw 4 examples of the Trans Am duel Four intake for sale when it is very rare to see one !! The prices ranged from 750.00 to over a 1000.00 which is well under what many go for on Ebay.

It was great to meet you in person Randy! Thank you for the help and good deal on the speed-time converters! They are super cool! Many Christmas presents for my local car buddies this year!
I had a chuckle for the Pookie style bumperette's. I had to bring my Dad up to speed on what that was about. Haha
Thanks Brian!
I actually had more "Pookie" related stuff packed in my car hauler ( which had the total brake system failure) . I actually had several "Pookie starter kits" ( empty boxes to "pose" parts with) that I was going to jokingly offer. That one marked box got allot of chuckles to say the least.

Hey Randy,
Thank you for that piece. I really didn't need much, I was amused as Bob G made a few trips to his rental car as Vern and I stood there. It was good seeing you.
Best,
Earl
Yes, it was great finally to meet u in person Randy. It's always good to put a face with a forum member.
Craig
And you as well my friend! It was good to meet people I've talked with on the forum for years. The one drawback to selling is you have to "be there" and you can't walk around much. So I didn't catch the car show or the open track action. I did oversee the drag race portion and it was smooth and trouble free.
