Side-Oilers, Yep you're right. Told me that at the 1988 SEMA show while we were sharing a sofa on the show room floor and reminiscing about things and he signed and dated some Shelby posters I had brought to sell to a guy that didn't show up. Lucky me.

I was there with Jack Schroll the owner of Mostly Mustangs in Oakland and he brought 6s001. I went in my 70 coupe. I worked a couple of exits from the event and lived about 6mi away. Most memorable memory was seeing a Cammer in a vehicle and all the parts for sale that I couldn't afford at the time.

I also was at the COCOA event and those little suckers created a lot of buzz in the pits, especially among the Shelby people. I posted once before, but do any of you know what Carroll said GLHS stood for?

Quote from: chipsdad56 on May 11, 2024, 06:44:24 PMHi Roy, is the steering wheel emblem original? It looks to be in a lot better shape than what I have now. I would be interested in it if it is.

John

Text me your number and I will send you some close up pics and discuss later as I have to leave right now.

Charlie, took over the business 5 or 6 years ago and moved it to Idaho. Last time I saw him was at his father's funeral in October. I don't know how fast he is getting products out so call Charlie and tell him I sent you and that may help.
