1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: 1967 Shelby GT350 - 951

Man!  This is so frustrating!  I can't get more than one of these pics to load, if 1 at all.

However, I think its because my files are too big.  I just posted 2 smaller photos to another thread with no problem.

I'll work on this, as I can promise that I took more photos of the car besides the Shelby Tag.  ;D

Well, these pictures of 0022 are not historically correct, as noted by the rough paint job and lift kit/wheels and tires, but they are fun to see nonetheless.  These pics were taken by the previous owner when he bought the car in 1973.

...good times!

Yesterday, I made my way out to a car show located between San Antonio and Austin, Texas.  Yes, there is a huge up side to being in warmer climates...a February outdoor car show!

Here are some pics I took of a 1967 Shelby GT350 that was at the show - 951.

Sorry - this link showing the instructions for which I'm trying to follow to add pictures to my gallery, and eventually to different threads.

Please help  :P

So, I was able to attach pictures as "attachments" for the first couple of weeks to different threads.  However, now I can't get pictures to attach - it looks like it's trying to attach, but then the progress bar stops.

I've also tried to attach per the instructions below; however, I'm running into the same issue (progress bar freezes and the pictures won't attach).

Is anyone else having this problem?  If so, how are you working around the issue?

Thanks!

For others, The light is on a timer and comes on when starting the car and cycles off after a few seconds - no noise.   Brian the one on #26 works and works correctly.

I don't know when in the Ford Mustang run they did and didn't install these but not all '67 Mustang (Shelby's) got them.  This is covered in the '67 Running Changes article in the 2013 Fall issue of The Shelby American.

JD

What JD mentions here is correct for 0022 as well - the light comes on for a few seconds during startup, and then goes out on it's own.  There is a relay that controls the light.  I found this out the hard way when the old relay got stuck in the closed position, and my light would stay on until I turned the car off.   ::)

Geez, Vern - you've had some SWEET cars!  I absolutely LOVE steel wheels, and the low numbered car doesn't hurt either.

My LEGOS were just blocks.

I must be old.    :-X

Amen to that!  As a kid, I couldn't make anything with Legos that didn't resemble...well...a bunch of blocks.

The only Mustang I'd take over my '67.

Nice.

I couldn't agree more. I'd LOVE to have one and just smoke the tires all day long.

Great pics, Greg!

Did you at least keep the rear wheels and tires from the 1970s pic?!?!  ;D

Outstanding!  And, thanks for the heads up as well.  The last shutdown came as a surprise to some of us...and by that, I'm referring to myself.

Thanks!
