Is the suspension system on an early production 1969 GT350 considered as heavy duty? I plan to order a master chassis fastener kit for the car and want to ensure that I obtain the correct one.
I wouldn't consider it heavy duty. It is likely a "competition suspension"
Most likely that term is being applied to the big suspension cars

The XHD-F-60-15 tire shelby option that started late march 69 standard on 69 shelbys both 350 and 500. The only difference is the size of the 4 tierods nuts bigger size.

There are two different big spindle hubs? Would the difference be one for drum brakes the other for discs?

Just for clarification for those reading - as it relates the original question of AMK master chassis fastener kit. There are other unrelated to question suspension differences .
