There have been several known original cars with glued and riveted on same car. Certainly not common

I have copies of Tom's original blueprints and there were different drawings for the red and black background versions. Having said that I kind of doubt he made a new mold for the black one. It is worth noting there is about 8 months difference between the first red ones observed till the rpo black version

Sorry, after I posted original question I was on the road yesterday. Pete covered a lot of it. Easiest way to tell if you don't have 2 side by side (or seeing hundreds over the years lol) is length . Originals measure 4.25 repops 4. Other ways are crispness of detail, snakes neck  is longer, tail skinnier and cobra jet lettering is smaller and clearer on originals.
Original posters picture is definately a repop

Like this GT350 mounting but different bracket?

Thats one version of the small block. There's another that has top cut at an angle and has single 90 degree bend like BB

I'm sure I'll get some push back on this but diaphram clutches create what I call "spaghetti pedal" Feels like wet noodles even if you remove equalizer spring.  My first choice would be rebuilding original if, like Bob said, you can find someone to do it. Second choice based on my own experience would be RAM 3 finger. We've probably used 30+ of them, I had 1 bad right out of the gate but beyond that good experience. We have customers that drive their cars regularly and no issues

Yes
current reproduction is modeled after the late 6768 pan so you should be all set there
The drain hole openings are a little little goofy, but they can be modified

Jeremy, they are like bolts and nuts that attach shock tower brace to cowl but phosphate

Single 5/16" washerless bolt, typically no head marking clear zinc, serrated wizz nut on back side. Make sure good and snug, it grounds through there

Not getting a ton of feedback here (thanks Anthony!) but I did get some reports directly. Made sense to keep this open so people searching in future can get info.
Early completed in 10/66 possibly into Nov.
1/4 28 with flat washers and serrated wizz nuts, dorman head marking
1/4 20 with flat washers, locks and plain hex nuts no head marking
Nothing yet to suggest finish but the 1/4 20 seems to be consistent with inboard hardware which seems to be mostly clear zinc

I assume when you say mirrors you mean you are adding RH mirror? There's NOS (just need to search and pay) and a distant second would be the drake repos. Cosmetically they look good but the adjusters and ability to hold its position lack. The same for gas cap, NOS and likely that will have different script or repop lacking all kinds of detail once you open. Tires? only one game in town Kelsey tire
