Pretty sure I saw a post recently about concours correct 66 Shelby engine bay decals and no mention was made of the vertical engine code decal on the front of the coil that is shown on the right side of Brant's late 65 and 66 picture.   Can someone comment on whether that decal should be there or not? 

I think the last two posts capture the reality of this well.  We all value pictures and constantly ask for more, but many like me have stopped trying to post any after many many attempts with no success.  It is way easier on other sites that I frequent and it should be that easy here too, or we will all continue to miss out on the many more pictures that could be posted and the value they would bring to the forum. 

It was a while ago, but pretty sure I used some thin pin stripe tape across the front face after cleaning it up, and then sprayed the grill flat black.  Peeled off the pin stripe tape after I was done and it has looked great ever since. 

My wife and I were vacationing in South Africa recently and on Friday May 4, we saw a black and gold 66 GT 350H at an intersection in Cape Town.  By the time I got my camera out it was gone, so no picture.  It looked like a decent driver and potentially real, but who knows.  Irrespective, it certainly stood out and was not what we expected to see while there.  Maybe the owner is a SAAC member ?
