Looking for a slabside wire wheel car. Private sale. Serious buyer thanks.
Generally, "slabside" refers to a replica rather than a genuine Cobra.

That's news to me. I call all Flat Flare CSX 2000 Cobra's Slab Sides.

+1
Thanks Ned. Use that adjective "at your own risk" around long time 289 owners. LOL

That is a 1990s term used on replicas because the manufacturers didn't know what to call the
street 289's to differentiate them from the wide hip "FIA" models they were building.
The term did not exist in the 60's and is considered derogatory by many original Cobra owners.
Besides the fact that there is not a flat panel on an original Cobra, let alone a slab of bacon ;)
The correct term you are looking for is a street 289 Cobra.

I knew as soon as I read that word that there was going to be pushback . It is like what happens when you are caught swearing in a Catholic grade school by the nuns . Don't ask me how I know. ;D ;D

Define swearing! Oh wait. I forgot. The nuns do. Shouldn't those rulers be declared as weapons?
Well since no one responded with a car for sale, I reckon there isn't any..Everytime I ask a question in this forum, I'm reminded of why I don't..Thanks Everyone!
Demand for genuine small block Cobras outstrips the supply these days, which is why no one could suggest one to purchase. It's not that no one wanted to help.

Perhaps if you asked the question in the "Wanted" subforum, you might quietly find the car you so desire.
Making a post in a "discussion subforum" got you exactly what you would expect.
As for supply and demand, there are a lot of people out searching for the same thing you are. With a finite supply of vehicles, it's a sellers, not a buyers market.
Bill
Not private but doesn't Legendary/Canada have saleable inventory?

Duly noted if I am ever in the market.
I keep coming back because there are always new things to learn...
