Agree. Service part if no button and only one spring.

Keith. 3939 is an original hipo double spring pump. I think you found gold lol. It does not have a button top for some reason. Rick

A perfect, original steering wheel center cap for a '65 GT 350. Great topic. Rick

Timing or carb issue is about all that's left. Would have to be a big vacuum leak....

The Lounge / Re: LLC for Shelby ownership?

One disadvantage is you have to have commercial insurance on the vehicle when it is registered to an LLC. The advantage is no sales tax when you purchase the car, plane, boat, etc. There is a LLC setup fee and small annual fee as a non-revenue tax return must be filed every year.

Montana offers LLC ownership, with the advantage of no sales tax when you purchase the car, boat, plane, motor home. The negative is you have to get commercial insurance, and your license plates are Montana.

Anyone know the value of a "good" standard 427 steel crank like that. Unusual to see in a 428 PI block. Will it even go in a 428 block?

My 462 Barry did a couple years ago is my original block and heads and his recommended stroker kit. It dyno'ed at 462 hp and 508 torque with headers. Otherwise my car is stock, so I lost some with exhaust manifolds.

Lots of little opportunities for improvement, but it has the correct 16" steering wheel, which the ad states is 15"
