For the record, it was never my intent to question the veracity of this car, but rather to show with amusement what some people do as a temporary (hopefully) solution to holding a vin tag in place. Maybe it was an old photo and the owner got tired of removing the rivet to compare the Ford vin. I also remember distinctly from an old magazine that someone attached a snowplow shovel to the front end of a 66 Hertz.

I believe previous post identifying the car as 6S2052 is correct. I have recent picture of car with what appears to be the same plate TYZ 713.

While looking for something else I came across this thread, I  have this in my files, believe this was on forum 1 ?

I have this id'd as   6S2052 ? ? ?   in Ohio aprox. '71 , is that correct ? ?
