+1 on what Bob said. I rebuilt mine with a NPD seal kit. The one seal is hard to get on . Make sure the cylinder bore is pit free and dip all of the seals in silicone dot 5 . I am going on 1 yr. with no leaks .we will see if it stays leak free.

No pins. I just took the glove box liner out to check and there are no pins coming through. 100% original emblem

Your welcome.
That is what this forum is all about, fellow members helping each other. I have been helped by some of the top  knowledable people in SAAC and the least I can do is give my 50 yrs. of experience to help others.

Don,
I have EG-145 for a 65 with gold base. But the base does not have the nipple for the hose from the oil fil cap.I have a K car I will use the base on and I had a base with the nipple for my 65.
When you call them make sure they have the correct base you need. EG-124 in my catalog has a blue base.
I think you will be happy with the chrome lid and I had to think long and hard before getting my original rechromed. It was rusty and I do not have it back yet so we will see if I like it.
Hope this helps

I have a few more questions . How was it sent ,motor wise, from SanJose to SAI? I believe with factoryA/C and dual quads without any Paxton.
Didn't the car have GT500 stripes on it 1st ? Before the EXP?
What happened to the original fenders and front end? I assume it was in 68 configuration since there were so many 68 parts on it when found. Taillight bezels,qt panel reflectors, steering wheel. Was it in a wreck?
Anyway, I think it is fantastic the car still exists and not crushed like I heard my whole life. And I think the show and Craig J. did a nice job. I could watch shows like this all day instead of the garbage that is on TV these days.

Yes, I meant to say $150 each. But I also might have $75 in my other 2. Of course I am talking yrs. ago prices.
Don, did you buy those hubcaps at $4000? If so ,I need to sell you some parts.HaHa
68 hubcaps are not a rare part.

Since you asked and said reasonable I will give you my answer. They are not a rare part but like Charles said, if NOS ,mint condition, that makes them desirable. If they need nothing, ready to put on the car. Start at $300-350 each. At $500 each I would never buy. I do not need any so I have no skin in the game. I might have $150 in a couple of mine. Others may differ with me on this but price is subjective.
Hope this helps
