Steel hood , no hub caps . Over rides ? Nice shot.

Side-Oilers

Just a guess, but could possibly be in CA.  That style of apartment building and foliage were popular where I grew up in SoCal, in the 1960s.

Is that a black license plate on the front, or just the bracket?

That is an interesting picture.  The rocker stripe lettering does make me pay attention.

Looks to be a black plate typical of CA. Might even be a 4 spd car. Certainly looks like over rides.

Vern - Thanks for sharing

Looks like someone already removed the center caps from the wheels Might have been taken after the car was resold as a used car/after Hertz usage based on the missing caps

Odd looking sticker (well it appears that it might be a sticker) in the center top of the windshield. Haven't seen that on a Hertz before.

Looks like the passenger door was open at the time. Picture might have been taken by the renter or someone else or even after the car was resold though allot of them got altered to hide the fact that they were exrentals

Side stripe might be the results of a repaint or spotting and reapplication of a new stripe
