+1, the assembly manuals, coupled with the AMK guide can answer a lot of questions about bolt types.  Not so much with head markings and things like star washer vs. disc washer bolts, but that's where the forums are helpful in answering some of the finer details.

Well said and accurate!

I can't believe it. I met Chris in person at MCACN a few years ago when Brian G met him. I had been talking and texting with him over the years. Great guy - ALWAYS willing to lend a hand. He helped me out a lot during the restoration of a former car (1967 Shelby GT350 - 0022).

RIP my friend.

What is your cars' Shelby VIN ?

''66 GT350 with a VIN of 252 or below is a "Carry-over" , others will know more

+1. Cars 6S001 to 6S252 are the carryover cars. Some (not all) of the unique features found on a carryover continued into production beyond 6S252. However, those cars beyond 6S252 were not built on 1965 Mustang platforms; which is one of the defining factors of a carryover.

Hope this helps!

The estimate was $275K to $350K.

No such thing as too neurotic... or, does that mean that I'm neurotic?

I'm good either way 😉.

I am not sure why people do not put their car on this forum first, when they would like to sell their car? If you can get the same price here and not pay fees, you would be doing both the buyer and seller a favor. At least try here first and if it does not sell then do auction houses. Why not sell it here? Or do you actually think you will get more at an auction....? Remember fees....Or do you just want too much and are afraid you will let it go to cheap? Remember, you can come down.

Typically, people put their cars through online or in person auctions, because they believe they will get more return, even after paying seller fees. Even some of the faithful from this site have moved to the auction route. In the end, it's all about marketing / visibility; which generally leads to a higher sales price.

Just my 2 cents

Mine did, nut worked loose and the wheel popped-off.  That'll get your attention real quick!

...wow!!!  I'd have to recover the driver's seat.  ;)
