With the right tire, grip and driver the breaking of the small in-out will be really easy starting at 425-450 hp ask me how I know ;-) ok I have some small blocks with more than 700 hp where even the big in-out will not last anymore.

Quote from: Kent on May 24, 2024, 12:48:21 AMI had to build some small blocks with the big in-out so that's why I asked. For a small input shaft the engine is very strong and the risk for a shaft failure is high. I just asked as I like the car.
I don't think that the 67-70 TA high horsepower 289/302 equipped cars used the big in big out trans.Consequently I don't think breakage was a big issue.

What kind of tranny do you have behind the engine?

I think the auction is over.
#8
These auctions are not any good for the seller/ owner. I think to choose someone who is willing to ship the stuff and put it on Ebay could be much more better. So is there someone who will pick up parts there?
#9
Who will be there? I would need some stuff from there and as they dont ship I would need someone there. Thanks for the help.

I was going through some pictures and memories from the last 25 years and there is one thing that really was on my list. To ask about Radiator Hoses for the 67 GT500 I have seen some concours cars with different hoses and part numbers. I believe there was always the same one used from the first to the last GT500 and I really would like to double check that here as some "concours" cars alway have wrong stuff on but maybe there is something I´m missing. I have seen at least 4 different part numbers that all could work for that year and also different logos (FoMoFo and Autolite). If someone want we also can talk about the GT350 to have a good thread for the search later.

if someone here also has a 67 GT500 Shroud for sale I would be interested in it. I also have some nice stuff for trades.

ok its weird so which stamp is better the fomoco or Autolite?
#13
ok so that means both Marti variants are correct even if they look different from the stamps and one is FoMoCo and one Autolite?
#14
Yes the Martin ones have different markings but they are both for a GT350 that's what the web says. Is it really like this? If yes where is the difference?
