I didn't know they were still in Business.  Just checked it out.  Yes, they have it AND the Rear Suspension Kit I will plan to use.  Thanks for the heads up.

Does anyone make a Front Racing Apron for the 1967 Shelby that Eliminates the Front Bumper?  Like the one in Photo but for the Shelby.......

The Lounge / Which Steering Set Up for Track Use?
May 08, 2024, 02:15:39 PM
If you had a 1965 Fastback Mustang that can be a Daily Driver that you take to Cruise Night and Car Shows but also put on the Track when you can, which Steering Set Up would you want?

16:1 Steering Gear with the Quick Steer Kit?  Non-Power Rack & Pinion?  Power Rack & Pinion?

It would help if you tell us WHEN it is to take place.

Sounds like something in the Door Latch might be is a bind.  Try using your Hand and hitting the door hard (without denting it) a few times and see if that jars it enough to unbind it.

Quote from: deathsled on May 07, 2024, 12:16:25 AMI need to really learn the ins and outs of carburetors first.  I have two Holleys sitting around and plan to deconstruct one to see what makes it tick.  I have a rudimentary comprehension of how they work but need to take the deep dive.

There should be no parts left over when you are re-assembled.

Come on now, don't lie to the man, there are ALWAYS Parts left over........... ::)

Beautiful Mustang for sure but, I would not use the term "Highly Optioned".  It doesn't have A/C, P/S, P/B.  What is the Radio, AM, AM/FM or AM/8 Track?  I would say nicely Optioned.

Quote from: Corey Bowcutt on May 02, 2024, 09:23:41 PMFun article. I especially enjoyed it because I am currently refurbishing a 64.5 convertible with a 260. However my 260 is a V8 not an inline 6. I am guessing there is a mistake there somewhere.

The 200 In Line 6 is pretty much an Indestructible Motor. Not sure about the 170 though.

Quote from: myboss on May 02, 2024, 11:32:57 AMYes located backing plates from another vehicle, non Mustang. Was not looking for numbers correct parts as they are not going to be for this application. Looking for good used drums was fritless, just wanted drums preferably made in the US.

Also keep in mind, China is also known for manufacturing Parts and stamping them "Made in the USA".
