I 'm just testing the waters here it might be too close to capital group . but I know there are at least 6 cars in the Annapolis area.
speak up maybe we can do something ;D
Count me in, I live in Calvert County
you were all ready counted maybe we should start a shelbys and coffee once a month
Sounds good to me
Most saturdays I spend at my buddies "barn" we work on cars. Right now we are in the process of restoring a barn find 1969 427 A/C 4 Speed Corvette Roadster. Also getting ready to asssemble a 427 SOHC engine with a blower to be installed in an under determined vehicle
Then it's out together the 1968 Dodge Dart 426 Hemi Hemi that dyno'd out at over 800 horsepower with a cross ram
Count me in for sure! I am just getting back on the new forum so may be late to the table but I love the idea.

where are you from ?
I live in Annapolis.
Did this idea ever get traction? I'm from Charles County...I'd be interested in some kind of regular get together...let's make this happen!!!
It has not but I would like to see it happen as well. Maybe we kick it off on the 31st with the lunch Steve has been planning. If I can get my car back together in time I plan to be there.
I can run down there, if the weather holds off..possible rain I believe...
if it rains we can still meet but maybe without the cars ( at least Cory's, his is nice, Phil's and mine, not so nice) Meet at 12:00 on the 31st at Sout County Café in Deale Maryland
Sounds perfect Steve. BTW your car is extremely nice!
Mine is a 32k mile one paint survivor-ish...guess a little rain wont hurt it...lol..
Original top...guess it will be a test....
Very nice 69Bosssvt! I hope I get a chance to see it.
Thanks Corey, I am going to plan on making the run Monday...
Bring pictures and stories
Are wives attending?
Mine says she is, of Cote's they are invited
Mine will be there as well.
Are any of my SAAC Group MD peeps here,.....like Jan?
Or Pam....?
Count me in on this if you get it off the ground. I live in Arnold. Mine is an always being fixed 67 GT500 survivor original owner is my wife.
Charlie D
Charlie,
That is super cool! Is that why you married her?
I live in Annapolis so we are neighbors. I think when the weather breaks maybe about March we should all get together for a lunch and discuss a regular, maybe monthly, get together.
I really look forward to checking out your car some day.
Corey
Count me in too
Steve McD
Corey and i voted steve in as president of somd saac when he was getting in his car ....
And that makes 50% of the club so Steve congratulations Mr President.
I would never join a clu/ that would allow me to have an office ;D
Weather was nice, so I had to drive in to work this morning...
I have to wait for a few good rain storms to was away the salt but it is getting close.
...then I come back to the shop and get told that my car was in the way so they backed it up....ugh....
Did this idea gain any traction or did it die? I was a member of SAAC MD for several years, but I would have preferred club activities closer to central or southern MD rather than northern MD and southern PA.
How many cars are in the southern Maryland area, I know of only 5 or 6? Maybe we can all try and get together at SAAC 44 , I know Phil isn't bringing his car, but Corey is, I plan on bringing mine
Any other "SMIB's" (Southern Maryland In-Breds) going to 44.
I think it would be great to try and meet up at a restaurant for a weekend lunch to discuss our plans for SAAC 44. Is there any interest in that? If we get an idea where everyone is coming from we can find a central location.
Sounds like an idea that might work
I'm on the north end of Calvert Co. and I would be interested in a southern Md. Club. I have a 68 GT500 convertible, Red with Black top.
Dave,
You need to bring that beauty to Sunday morning Cars and Coffee in Annapolis. I go every Sunday I can. It has been very popular this year because all other car events have been canceled so it is good to get there early (7:30). Would love to meet you there.
Corey
Who knows maybe I'll come out to C&C one Sunday, Corey are you going to Lehigh Valley this Sunday ?
No I am not. I have not bought new tires yet since my last attempt to drive there went so horribly wrong. I actually bought one just to check tire size but have not purchased the other 3. I am riding the RWL Polygalas and I would not drive them that far. If I had a truck and trailer I would be going. Someday I will get a truck and trailer.
Been awhile since I checked in to the SAAC Forum. Been being very vigilant with the Covid precautions which puts a real crimp in any group activities. Looking forward to some sense of "normal". ? Are people being socially distant at Cars and Coffee? Might consider doing that.
Charlie D
Come out tomorrow morning Charlie. It will be a beautiful day. I would not say all are great at social distancing but you can be. Been a great summer at Annapolis C&C because it here is nothing else to do. Come on out.
We can possibly have our traditional Last Drive/First Drive Dec31St/Jan 1st luncheon
Can't make C&C today, but will put it on calendar for next Sunday!
