Thank you for the info on 0051. Also, thanks for posting the pictures. That looks like
a bucket list event, for sure.

So cool!

Surprisingly, there wasn't any "rub". However, I did go with 225/60's. I had some negative camber
dialed in.  If I was turning hard right or left going into a steep driveway it would "scuff". But normal driving
and even all my open track SAAC events, no problem. Really enjoyed that car!

Probably 1980's. 0073 with my brother's American wheels. Just checking
size, to see if 235/60's would fit with lowered springs. Center caps have "AMX"
on them. (big brother had a 1970 AMX)

SAAC-47 / Re: Attendance
June 22, 2022, 05:42:29 PM
I was at SAAC 47 and was disappointed in the numbers on track, both SAAC and SVRA. Saturday's SAAC Vintage race was pretty small and the SVRA Group 6 race was small as well. Quite understandable, with everything costing so much more right now, especially fuel. If regular pump gas is over $5.00/gallon, what were the guys paying for race fuel? All the big rigs towing, burning diesel, pretty stiff price to pay, especially if you're towing long distance. Overall I thought SAAC did a great job with the convention. Concours (no "e", please) was outstanding! Beautiful cars!

SAAC-47 / SAAC 47 Track Map with SAAC Designations

Has anyone seen/received a map of the Indianapolis Speedway with indicators for SAAC track entry, registration, parking, etc.?
These have always been very helpful in the past.

Hi Howard,
I have a friend who is installing a new Shelby-style steering wheel on his '65 Mustang fastback. It is not a "Shelby clone" or replica, just a
nice driver. He wants to install a toggle switch for the horn, like the '65 Shelby. Do you have any suggestions where he can find information
on routing wiring, where to tap into existing, color of wires, etc.?
Thanks,

The Lounge / Wiring for '65 GT 350 horn toggle switch
February 09, 2022, 07:52:42 PM
I'm looking for information on how to wire a dash mounted toggle switch for a '65 Mustang (not a clone/replica).
Want to install and wire like the '65 GT 350's were done. Wire routing, connection, wire color, where to tap into existing horn wiring, etc.
Thanks for any help!
