So we are saying that 67's were painted via brush on the exposed surface that you would see through the mag? I thought we had photos of a 65 with a paper tag on the drum where it was evident it had been sprayed black. Sorry ,didn't want to mix yrs.  On the old site is where that photo was .

Thanks Bob,Jeff and everybody. My car is #348 so will paint it semi black. Interesting on backing off or adjustment of valve. Any idea on what this would be? I believe there were 15 threads  showing on outside of valve that I am working on.Thanks again Brad

What is the correct color on the outside of the proportion valve? I have seen both semigloss black and grey with the bare metal areas. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks  This is for 65 Shelby.

I have a NOS S8MS-16B907-A in the box with instructions. I think I bought this somewhere between 72-74. Ordered both sides but only one recieved. Box says Ford Service Parts.
